a thoroughly horrible day

It's wet, windy and miserable today, just as it was lovely and warm yesterday. Visibility is poor too. Cannot see the islands in the Minch nor the far westerly peninsula.

Have just returned from our third walk of the day, rubbing Hector down with his towel. Found a minute creepy crawlie on his muzzle which I think might be a sheep tick. I am not surprised considering the number of rabbit holes he's had his head in. I have a new flea/tick 3 month chewable tablet anyway, when his present medication expires in the next few days.
