The Fishing Pier

We were up before dawn to ride the five miles to the fishing pier for the sunrise today...there were several locals already fishing, and the egrets were hanging around hoping for a morsel!

Yesterday we had such a fantastic day! 17 miles on our bikes through the bird sanctuary, a walk on the beach, a swim or two in the pool, then over to the mainland for a wonderful sunset dinner.

And the fact that Al spent the day on spotlight made it just that much better!! Thank you to everyone who put him there!!!
