Farewell New Zealand

The view of the Southern Alps as our Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 climbed westward out of Christchurch International Airport. There was a point I could make out both east and west coasts of the South Island; all the way from Greymouth to Christchurch!

As I write from Singapore Changi airport awaiting our London connection thoughts are very much on getting home, restarting work and especially meeting friends and family.

Although we have been still taking a little time to reflect on what has been a truly amazing and unforgettable trip.

Still one more thing to look forward to; the last leg of our journey is on the top deck of an Airbus A380 super jumbo!
