Steep As

Took another go at that hike we couldn't do earlier that week due to soreness. Damn this hill was steep. It was uphill almost the whole time, we needed a lot of breaks. The view at the top was definitely worth it. A 360 degree view of Queenstown. The town on one side and its endless mountains on the other. Blythe and I were really proud of ourselves for making it all the way up.

Exhausted, we spent the rest of the day on a drive to Glenorchy. about 40 minutes away. Nothing is really in Glenorchy, except some really stunning views. The road follows the lake all the way up and it pretty much turns into a mirror. Again, I don't know how to describe what I saw, but the drive was truly beautiful.

That evening we went out again after hanging a bit in the hostel common room. Queenstown nightlife is really just the icing on the cake.
