Auckland -> Sydney

Our flight took off around 3:30 p.m. from Auckland. We got to the airport super early cause that was the only time our roommate could drive us. The flight was about 5 hours and managed to land right as the sun was setting with a nice view of Sydney. (Sydney is 2 hours ahead of New Zealand). Unfortunately I had a bit of a cold so my ears popped and I had some crazy sinus pressure in my face.

Once it was dark it started to rain. Haley, my roommate from Loyola, was able to get us a ride to her dorm in Parramata, about an hour outside of Sydney, which was very convenient. It was great to see her! But also weird cause we were across the world now.

We spent the evening in one of her friends apartments, she has a lot of European international friends, some of their British accents were too thick to understand!
