Curtea de Arges Monastery

On our first day driving northwards from Bucharest, we stopped at this wonderful monastery, which dates from the 16th century. Our guide regards it as one of the most historically important in the country.

We stopped for the night in Sibiu. Due to complications there, I've backblipped this the next morning.
