Tradgedy at the feast

After our short rain, which did not really break the drought, all the flying ants came swarming out of their nests. This attracts a large variety of wildlife, monkeys, lizards, insectivorous birds etc. One would think that motorists could just drive carefully but no right in front of my camera this woman whizzes past in her great big 4X4 and pop kills this beautiful blue headed agama!!! Seconds later a yellow billed kite swooped down and enjoyed the meal. And so life goes on as sad as that can be.
