The Last Rose Of Summer

Okay, I'm officially going into vacation mode, so blips are going to be a bit disjointed. I leave Friday for two weeks in Indiana and I'm really looking forward to it. Rumor has it that the trees will be gorgeous this year, so I'm ready with the camera. Rob and I will be hitting all our favorite restaurants, shops and spots of interest, so I know there will be a veritable wealth of blip opportunities.

I had a yard full of blue jays this evening, and a couple squirrels -- Flo, of course. There were even two hummingbirds sparring over the feeder, but do you think they'd hold still long enough for a blip? Oh, no. In the end, how could I ignore the last rose of summer all covered in rain drops. No way.
