Like sunshine after rain

The sun has come out just in time for this photo, but to late for me to make progress on glazing the greenhouse. Instead today we planted trees and shrubs around our existing fruit trees. These are beneficial companion plants or bee attractants. The rain helped with softening the ground and watering in the plants - well a bit at least.

The greenhouse now only needs the glass to be fitted. It's a fiddly job and one not to be done in the rain. I don't fancy wet glass slipping out of my hands. Tomorrow's forecast is better so perhaps I will be able to make some progress.

Tonight, given how wet we got whilst planting in the rain, it is time for a warm, nourishing soup.
