THE TREE:

This fulfills two purposes. Firstly for my journal I wanted to show how little snow there is on Mt. Roy at this time of the year - just a smidgen. And secondly to respond to a joke with WALKING WOMBAT. Many months ago, when I was just beginning on this journey, I posted a tree, slap bang in the middle of the photo, & I was promptly chastised by the Boss of Tussock (he, who must be obeyed), & told to put the tree on the side. Then a few months later, I saw a blip of W. W. who had done exactly that; & I couldn't help myself, but remembering The Boss, I repeated his words. Yesterday the good lady rang from Aussie & she reminded me of the occasion. She said I looked at all my subscribers .........."AND THERE WAS SNOWY WITH A BLOODY FRUIT PHONE, TELLING ME WHERE TO PUT MY BLOODY TREE !!!" .........I laughed all night. I have no doubt she will retell the story for many years to come ? We parted amicably & as good friends & it was wonderful to hear her voice. ❤️ she is a great lady.......and a very good photographer !!

I have planted 2 white trailing petunias in the blue pot so it will be interesting to see how they look. Another magnificent day. No clouds, no wind, no rain.
