The Miracle Of Flight

"At an altitude of thirty-four thousand feet and flying at 470mph against a 50mph headwind", is how the First Officer described our progress halfway through our flight from Geneva to Belfast this morning.

I know its a matter of physics but I don't think I'll ever fully get my head around flying through the skies in an aluminum tube along with a couple of hundred others and loads of luggage.

Nice soft touchdown too - smooth end to a great weekend away!
