Monday haggis
Off to the Kings Wark, on The Shore at Leith for haggis, jeeps and tatties this evening, with KryptoMart and his dad, which was all very nice.
One of Edinburgh's oldest and most atmospheric pubs, the 15th century King's Wark was a famous old smuggler's haunt, served as a plague hospital and - in earlier times - was even the private armoury belonging to King James I for a while. Things have now quietened down thankfully, and it is a very fine place to eat, in an atmospheric environment.
Hope the week has started off well for you all.
