Morning Moose

A trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons would be incomplete without some photos of moose. However later on this day a female moose had to be put to sleep after running in a panic from a male and a hoard of photographers straight into a picnic table at the camp ground. Things like that bring into sharp focus the need to respect the wildlife and ensure that they are given space to move away should they get uncomfortable.

I couldn't help but wonder if big lenses should come with a compulsory training course and code of conduct. The light was lovely this morning, and the male moose managed a few attempts at raising his head between snoozes.
