Beauty in decay..

I rather love the surprise that can come from letting flowers go over.. these dahlias which were spectacular when in full bloom hadn't been thrown away.. but actually I thought they were good enough to photograph!!

Quiet start to the week.. do hope the workmen I rang will get back in touch and make a date to come and assess the work I need doing.
