Husbands

Phone call this morning to say Jack, my dear and oldest friend's husband has died. I've known them for 40 years and it is terribly sad as he was only diagnosed with cancer five weeks ago. So glad I saw them only a couple of months ago, when he was full of life and still had a twinkle in his eye. A lovely man whose death will take a lot of coming to terms with for all his family.

Gave Mike a hand resealing Aida's windows this morning and then this afternoon he was out in the dinghy lifting the mooring. Flat calm and perfect weather for being out on the water.
