Quiz

Today was this season's first meeting of The Monday Club and as such was a social gathering of the ladies of the bridge and badminton clubs.

The entertainment before the afternoon tea (always the best bit) took the form of a quiz, so we had to split into teams and answer questions on a variety of subjects relating to Scotland, such as general knowledge, songs, tartans and towns beginning with B.

This round, in which we had to identify famous Scotswomen, was the easiest for my team. We got them all except the last one. We could tell from her pose that she was a curler, but her name had us stumped. Any guesses? Have you got all the others?

PS I don't think the lady opposite is glaring at me; she was just trying very hard to remember the name of No 14 (Moira Anderson).
