West Street, Midhurst

West Street, Midhurst is in the historic part of town. The Crafty Pint is a recent addition, selling craft beers and ciders from local small and micro breweries as well as things from further afield. It’s run by a guy who has been here for over 30 years, previously running a local pub. Next door is West Gate House, sold a couple of years ago for £305,000. and recently repointed and cleaned up, now looking very smart and attractive while retaining its old features. I'm thinking it would be very convenient to live here, but no garden, just a yard.

On the right you can just see part of the Spread Eagle Hotel dating back to the 14th century, previously blipped Here. In the distance you can see the Old Town Hall dating from 1551 when it was the Market House with an open side., now Gartons Tea Rooms, on the edge of the town square. You can still see the cells inside, blipped [Here. . One of my favourite corners of Midhurst.
