I spotted this tourist at the top of the Empire State building and apart from making a striking figure because of his height I was fascinated to see some good old school film photography tools of the trade in active use.

This was on the same day I had a Polaroid taken by a man using a camera rig he first purchased in 1959 and it had been the focus of his livelihood every since.
