Swimming the Thames

Mr M's cousin Chris has been swimming the Thames this week from Oxford to Putney. He's doing it in aid of The Garden Museum in Lambeth which Chris set up and is the director of.

We fished him out of the Thames at Chertsey on Friday evening, fed him, gave him a bath and bed for the night and then stuck him back in the Thames on Saturday morning.

We then caught up with him again early afternoon at Hampton Court after we cycled along the towpath of the Thames from Weybridge to Hampton Court. He was doing well and making good progress.





I have back blipped this entry. Sadly on Monday morning 15th September my father passed away very peacefully.
