'Look Tom!!! Haa-hoos!!! Haa-Hoos!!!

And so to Alton Towers for the annual get together of the charity we're involved with. Tom's deafness brings with it a perk when it comes to this theme park; disabled access to all the rides. Given this was also the first year when Tom has exceeded the magical height of 1.40m, it meant that he and I had nailed pretty much all the big rides by 11am.

Tom's special entry powers were later pressed into action for his wee brother's benefit too and, while he may have presented a thin veneer of 10 year old disdain and cool on the Night Garden boat ride, he still knows all the words.
