The "Girls"

Finally... I'm caught up with posting!

I haven't been feeling too good lately. No energy. Cranky. Weepy.
I kind of had a meltdown when I get home from work Friday night. I was ready for a nice quiet weekend, hoping to get the energy to get something done around the house, relax a bit, catch up on blip etc..... I hear Glenn on the phone with his brother "Ok, see you tomorrow then about one". Huh????? Come to find out, said brother is bringing yet ANOTHER truck down here from Vancouver, Wa. about 4 hour drive or so!! (meaning he will have to stay the night cuz it's too far to drive back the same day). I kinda flipped out. Got up Saturday and pretty much was not speaking all day. Woke up this morning and went for a drive. I'm just struggling with everything. Doesn't help that I don't feel good. Women my age need advanced warning of guests. Well, maybe it's just me but right now our house is in disarray from the remodel and is a total mess, the dishes are piled up cuz I don't have energy to do them, the puppy needs potty training and I don't have the patience to do it right now, Glenn is having terrible back pain, then a guest comes. UGH. So, I stayed away from the house pretty much all day.

Ignore my rant above. Now, the reason for the photo.....

As I was out on my pity party drive, I was coming home down a country road. There were some pretty flowers cascading out from someones garden so I pulled over, grabbed my camera and got out of the car. I hear "Hello!!! Come on in and meet everybody!!" I look over and there is a lovely woman about mid 60's or so waving at me. So, I did what any normal person would, I went into the garden. All I can say is am I glad I did! What a wonderful couple they are!! She introduced me to her husband, sister and friend from out of state. They were plucking beans or something under a gazebo built by the husband complete with flat screen tv with a football game on. Such a charming group of people. I spent about 20 minutes with them and left with bags of tomatoes, basil, potatoes and stuff from the garden. My mood was instantly lifted. I got info on a great Christian book, pain management help for Glenn and friends I know I can go visit again anytime.

I believe that God brings people into our lives at the perfect time for the perfect reason and that is what happened today :)

Oh, the photo???? The garden was not only brimming with whats left of flowers and vegetables, but it had a garden shed with all kinds of metal geckos and flowers hanging on it, metal yard art everywhere, wooden birdhouses (made by my new friend) all over and she had scarecrows all about and these 'ladies' are her "girls" and she says it's her and her two sisters (but they don't look like that) What a hoot!!! :) :) :) This visit totally made my day

I got home. Grabbed Glenn and Zulu and went to the beach for Zu's first run on the sand since she has all her shots now. Great way to end the day that started out with me in tears

Happy Sunday
