I'm always surprised at the number of Italian speakers around when I'm out and about in Leichhardt.
The last census showed 7.2% of the Leichhardt population speak it as a first language, so that'd explain it.
I suspect these fellows would have allowed me to take their photo, but they were so engrossed in their conversation I didn't want to interrupt them.
And it would have been a different photo.
