BLUE JAY to the RESCUE

The local blue jays must have heard about my blip yesterday complaining about not being able to photograph them. Late today, I heard that familiar screech squawk so I quickly tossed a few peanuts out on the deck, got in position with the camera ready, and BAM!, there they were, one after the other swooping in for the steal. The look on this one’s face seems to say, “There! Are you happy now?” You bet!! (Three more blue jay shots are on Flickr.)
