The Western Baths Club

If you walk along Byres Road a take a quick detour you can see the grad entrance to The Western Baths Club apparently a club for all seasons and for all ages.

According to their website - In 1876 the baths was primarily a swimming and recreational club, mainly, but not exclusively, for gentlemen. Today it is the complete sports and health club – for ladies, gentlemen and children.

However I was surprised to discover that membership prices varied according to your sex and martial or other status!! So St Andrews Golf club style.
