Dusk Burn

Our son-in-law's parents celebrated their Ruby Wedding Anniversary today (40 years), and we went to Blyth to meet them all for lunch.

Very nice meal - and a great get-together.

On the way home as we passed Aberford we spotted this hot air balloon.

Unfortunately I did not have a camera with enough lens power with me - so as soon as we got in I grabbed my DSLR and headed back down the road.

The light was beginning to fade - but I managed a few shots, including this which was briefly lit by the sun. However I liked this shot better as it had the burner going.

About 5 minutes later the balloon landed behind trees somewhere near Hazlewood Castle.
