Unauthorised

I thought to take a photo of this rather strange sign because of Red's blip from yesterday. When I first saw it I found it rather hard to interpret - the hand was all I could see. Is the rest of it supposed to be part of a person? In any event, it turned out it was the only photo I took.

This was not because today was devoid of incident. I worked in the department in the morning, then started to get the first in a series of messages from DaveH who was getting the ferry from Stornaway to Ullapool in the teeth of a gale. I moved to a different hotel for the night (no particular reason) and met up with several colleagues from the Newcastle area who'd travelled down for tomorrow's briefing. We had a meal together and a good blether and I eventually got a message from D to say he'd arrived home safely just before midnight!
