Unexpected rays of sunshine

After an unpromising start the sun did break out from between the clouds, as it so often does. I regretted not taking the big camera with me this morning, especially when I got home and uploaded the images. I get more noise with the little XZ1. It was cold, though, that dreaded north-east wind. Although with daylight saving it is now easier to get up in the dark (not so early) it is cold, and I wasn't keen to stand around for too long at the top of the hill.
