Planting Poppies

Today we did some volunteering at the Tower of London, helping to "plant" 880,000 individual ceramic poppies as part of an installation by Paul Cummins to commemorate the centenary of WWI. Each poppy represents a life lost.

Mark organised it for us and several other lovely friends: it was a memorable and moving shared experience.
