Kingston Lacey

I've been feeling grotty today. My sore throat from the last couple of days has now turned into a full-blown cold so I'm feeling snotty and tired and generally sorry for myself.

So we went down to Kingston Lacey for the day, a local (ish) National Trust property. It was busy because they had an Autumn Fair going on in the grounds, but the spacious gardens are plenty large enough to swallow hundreds of visitors, so we bagged 2 deckchairs and spent the day lazily lounging and reading. Ted ran around and played happily, but unfortunately also had a quick nap on the rug... I'm paying for it now as it's nearly 9pm and he's still wide awake, sigh. The way this is going I'll be asleep before he is!
