Hmmm as tho I could forget the tube strike when I needed to be at Heathrow, what a nightmare journey that turned out to be. I had to feel really sorry for anyone arriving for the first time to have to endure the chaos of no tubes taking them into central London not a good start to their holiday/business trip etc. Even the Heathrow Express was running a restricted and super service.
