Kale

It needs the frost to be ready, but the kale is already huge. In Dutch there is a saying "it [or (s)he] is growing like cabbage" - I guess that's appropriate here. Patato stew with kale is a favorite winter dish here, and apparently it is conquering the world now too.

So this is the first vegetable garden blip. We've had it now since last May and it has already served most of our dinners for the last couple of months. All much to the credit of S, I must say.
