Sorting the garden

After church this morning we went for a coffee to combine giving Daddy more rest with doing some homework. Carys finished her reading book but could get onto Mymaths on the ipad. Will read his book really well and did his sounds and his words. He is getting better at the sight words.

After lunch they played in the garden. The little girl from next door came round for a while. Jim massacred, sorry, cut back the honeysuckle, then between us we managed to attach the clematis to the new fence. That bit of the garden is starting to look good.

Will is being a pickle at bedtime at the moment. I don't think he can switch his brain off. On Friday he wanted to check his phonics with me an hour after lights out. Tonight hasn't been any better and of course, he isn't sleeping in, so he is getting more and more tired. I don't know what to do to help him.
