Back on the water

Back out on the water today helping Beth with a 2* assessment - a good chance for me to see where I'm at ahead of mine - and also only the second time I've been in a boat this year. Post knee surgery it was a lot lot easier to engage my hips and knees and straight away I felt more comfortable - when you can actually put equal pressure on each side of the boat its a lot easier to go in a straight line for starters.
It started off rainy - but when you're on the water that doesn't really matter all that much - but by lunch time the weather was coming round to the forecast & it just got nicer & nicer. The wind also dropped which removed some of the challenge - but did allow us to practise some fine skills.

It'd had been far too long - already in the diary to get out again next week - so, congratulations to Katrina - she passed with flying colours - me next hopefully.
