Subway Sets

One of the best nights I've had in New York so far. Performers from the subway taken above ground to perform in front of the New York skyline. It was in Queens in this gorgeous landscaped area on the waterfront and there were 3 acts on; a solo woman, a Mumford-esque band and the headliners; a drummer, a trumpeter and a saxophonist, who were completely incredible. It was easily one of the best experiences I've had.

In the day I went for a lovely lunch in Soho with the girls and then walked up to Central Park before heading across to Queens.

(I didn't notice it when they were performing but does anyone agree that the guy on the left in the photo looks like Dad - andypowe11 - when he was younger?)
