A Pilgrim's Progress

During the morning stroll we found out about Mary Sinclair or Sister Mary Francis of the Five Wounds. She was an interesting figure - there cannot have been many nuns in the early 20th century that were involved in the Trade Union movement.

Onwards to see a coupe of things for 'Doors Open Day' first the fantastic 'Ramp House ' by Chambers McMillan, then home via a walk in Portobello and the Robin Chapel at the Thistle Foundation in Niddrie. The choir were singing and the windows by Sadie McLellan were truly amazing. I'm not sure which of the nine scenes from Pilgrim's Progress this is.
