Washington Sunrise

I took a quick trip into the city this morning and arrived about 30 minutes before sunrise. Parking was a breeze and walked about a 1/4 mile to the Lincoln Memorial through a beautiful tree lined pathway. When I came out into the clearing, I was greeted by this view. : ))

The sky stayed like this for about 15 minutes and then gradually faded to blue as the sun came up.
