Pentlands from the drove road

I'll never tire of the Pentlands. Although they are our local hills, I do believe that they have a very agreeable form.

Went out for a long run this morning, keeping to cols rather than summits since I'm not in great condition. Managed to keep a notch above jogging pace but struggled to run up from the Howe to the Carnethy/Scald Law col. Was glad to slow down as I approached home, too. 17km and 650m climb in 1h45. Right big toe rather sore but am seeing the podiatrist on Thursday.
