Lap cat

Early morning walk then hairdressers followed by lunch with J, M, B and J. This is Bobbie, a bit of a celebrity at the salon. He lives up the road a bit but makes daily visits to the salon where he often curls up on clients laps and has a wee doze. I was the lucky lap today :)

Despite the lovely start to the day we had been warned about an approaching low so it was no surprise when we felt the first drops mid-afternoon. By the end of the day the rain had set in - a great opportunity to get stuck in to some long-overdue house work. I love the cleansed feeling that comes with a good tidy up, vacuum and dust. I also love the emotional 'space' it produces - a great way to start the holiday.
