Remembering the Battery

Attended a ceremony to remember the men from the Ross Mountain Battery and the Royal Naval Reserve who left the training base at Battery Point in Stornoway. It was here that the 140 casualties, retrieved from the sinking of HMY Iolaire were laid out after the tragedy; the bodies of 65 others were never found.
