Its the Way It Is

Autumn Garden .....

We have feasted well on it and still have tomatoes, onions, garlic, leeks, betterave (thats beetroot in french just to show you that I am keeping up with my lessons), carrots, marrows, parsnips, apples and pears.

So I celebrate the garden and its bounty by this photo which shows it moving towards rest and hibernation for winter.

If you look closely in the bottom right of the pic you will see our garden gnome (who helps with the watering - but always at night so we don't see him) has keeled over from exhaustion. He hibernates in the South of France - so not much sympathy for him.

Next month we will be getting out the seed catalogues.

The Circle of Life.
