Japanese holiday day two

Arrived in Asakusa Tokyo and safely dropped at our hotel by the airport transfer bus . Unfortunately we couldn't get into our room until 2pm so we had a wander round the area and had a few beers and snacks at the many bars/eateries. First place we went to and N points at the 1000 yen 'set' that includes beer and food without knowing what it was. He hadn't looked at the posters outside nor watched the man cooking, so we had something best described as octopus donuts. Interesting but I doubt I'll be ordering them again! As it's Sunday the whole area was very busy but it's warm and sunny and we are very close to the Sensoji temple as you can see from the photo which is taken from our hotel room.
