Color Me Redder...

Drove around the Mansion grounds to see the spectacular colors that line the lanes. In a few months, the spigots will be attached and the maple sap will flow into buckets to make the best maple syrup...oooo, good! We tap in February and the sap is boiled and bottled on the grounds.
Tip: When possible, buy Grade B syrup...it is darker and more flavorful. The lighter syrup, Grade A, is just that...boiled longer and over-processed. Maple Syrup Lite, as it were.
