Being manly

A good morning at ballet- she did her class and then did a coaching class with the principal of her solo. I saw the first run through and she was adorable. She didn't want to leave dancing but the promise of writing the shopping list and ticking it off in the shops excited her! So we stopped for veggies.

We then had a very "stereotypically manly half hour", calling at the DIY superstore, and finding all we needed before stopping at the snack trailer for a sausage butty for her! That said, our manliness was in fact for an extremely girly reason of what will end up as very very pink and girly twirling wands for her birthday party!

We then had a fabulously lazy couple of hours watching stuff on the iPad, snuggled together. I let her download a new frozen puzzle pack while I designed her birthday invitations & christening invites for her wee friend. She are a huge pile of tea and then did a really wonderful job of her homework. Proper sentences with some not totally easy spellings and I introduced full stops for the first time. Her handwriting has really come on the past couple of months and it's very neat now. She was pleased with her little self. More snuggles and she was soon asleep.

a few backblips to follow, including a couple of nice ones,but it's been quite busy!!
