Lace day

Up early to get to Yateley to help get ready for our annual lace day at Yateley school. A good day was had by all.

Cathy Barley, member of our North Downs Lacemakers, made the exquisite lace on this parasol (her webpage is:http://www.catherinebarley.com).

An excellent talk from Judith Cordell, who produces beautiful beadwork but also an extremely talented lacemaker, particularly Rosaline lace.

A long, but very enjoyable day.
