Old before our time ?

I was passing an Antique dealers in Innerleithen today and this colourful arrangement caught my eye. Antique ??? I remember watching the Magic Roundabout as a child in the 70's and the toys being in the shops at that time. With the pace of modern living is life passing us by faster than we think ?
