We made it!

This is Alfred Dog on the St Ives to Zennor Coast Path today. It was a very tough path, with boulders to climb and big, sharp stones underfoot most of the way. We loved it! I’m pretty stiff all over now though! Alfred managed it brilliantly and we were so proud of him, that when we arrived at the pub in Zennor, Mr K ordered him a fried sausage, like the one he got given yesterday! :-)

We got the bus back to St Ives where we’d left the car, then drove to Mousehole, where I bought a little bronze running hare, before driving on to Marazion for fish and chips on the terrace of the Godolphin Arms hotel at St Michael’s Mount.

The weather was prefect again. Cloudy and light drizzle at the beginning of our walk, which was very helpful as it kept us cool while walking – then as we reached the end, the sun came out and the afternoon and early evening was warm and sunny with bright blue sky.
:-)
