Some Belles

This was my first time out with Belles on Bikes Edinburgh, a social cycling group. It might be social cycling, but the 44.6km I did (from home to Roseburn Park for the meet up, and then from there out via the Cammo Estate and the Dalmeny Estate to South Queensferry, and finally then return along National Cycle Route 1 until two of us peeled off at Cramond and went down to the village and along the front to Silverknowes and thence home) was more than I'd cycled in a very long time. I was a bit apprehensive about being slow, but I needn't have worried. The pace was fine. The company pleasant. And the icecream I ate in South Queensferry was excellent.

I will certainly enjoy my burger or whatever down at the Vintage this evening.
