Hedgerow perils!

A cloudy but warm and muggy day. Today I finally got around to heading out into the country lanes in search of blackberries...

I'd left it a bit late in the season, but after a couple of hours battling with the perils of country hedgerows, I managed to come home with several pounds of juicy blackberries, along with many bramble thorn scratches and stinging nettle rashes! And a couple of displaced spiders!!

Tomorrow is jam making Sunday!!!


If you go large, you can see a very fine spider's web on the top left blackberry - how tiny must that spider be?!
