today was Apple Day Extravaganza at the Park. The apple scratter was in full swing as people brought basket loads of eater, cooker and presser apples to be turned into pot after tub after trug of apple pulp. The pulp was patted down into the press and we watched as the stream of juice filled the waiting jugs. We even got to sample some fresh off the press. It was tart and tasty and not a bit like shop bought apple juice. Then over to the field for some apple scarecrow making, a watch of the welly golf and a look around the craft stalls.
