Too much to look at!
An enormous amount of ground covered today, taking in the entire High Line park, a lunch stop in the Meatpacking district, and the Empire State Building.
The High Line has something to look at every few steps; it really is an immense piece of design. The newly opened section at the Rail Yards is not to be missed, and the architecture and construction work along the way had me captivated. Chelsea seems to be a real up and coming area with some very covetable condos!
We took advantage of the late afternoon light with a visit to the Empire State. It was a quiet day and a short wait to get to the top. I adore the art deco style of the building but overall I think Top of the Rock is superior with much more space to move around. Can't complain though, I got some excellent photos and enjoyed just taking it all in.
